FOOTBALL: The 1st teams match at Battle Baptists was called off because of a waterlogged pitch while the 2nd team played at home to Magham Down and were outplayed as the visitors scored three goals in each half. Their first came after 17 minutes and their second a minute later with The Bridge defence all over the place. A 33rd minutes corner lead to Bridge keeper Charlie Hornshaw punching the ball into his own net while at the other end Jordan Isaac was unlucky not to score when his header came back of the crossbar. The second period saw The Bridge push for a goal and man of the match Sam Cawkill kept crossing the ball from the wing but too many times there was no forward in the box to score and when a clear chance came substitiute Richard Isaac’ shot wide. The visitors three goals in a five minutes spell midway through the half secured all three points.
