St Mary’s Salehurst: will be holding Holy Communion at 9am in the Mission Room and then at 11am at St Mary’s on Sunday 27th September. There is also to be an afternoon service this Sunday, which is something different for all the family. It will be more informal with local musicians and performers and is to be around 40 minutes long. This will be followed by tea and cakes. It would be great if you give this a try and it could then hopefully become a regular in St Mary’s calendar.

The date for the Harvest Supper is Friday 2nd October, which hopefully you already have in your diary. This is being held at the Primary School. There is to be a hot supper with a sweet to follow. Tickets will be available in church on Sunday from the Salehurst Halt or by calling 07984420074.

Many thanks to all those that attended the Auction of Promises that was held at Vinehall School last Saturday. The evening was a great event and a financial success and very enjoyable for those that attended. Sincere thanks are offered to those who bought the items, and more importantly to those individuals and businesses that donated them.
