Age Concern: will be holding its AGM on Monday 22nd September at Robertsbridge Hall starting at 1.30pm. The search for a Chairman still goes on so if you have the time and would like to help keep this group going please go along to the meeting and find out more about it. Aviation Society: there will be a Jumble Sale tomorrow 20th September at Bush Barn between 2pm – 4pm. free parking and admission with light refreshments available. The Aviation Museum will on the last Sunday of September and October between 2.30pm – 5pm. Bush Barn is just North of Robertsbridge with postcode TN32 5PA. Bonfire Society: would like to thank everyone that supported the 2 events that they organised last week end, firstly the Rock` and ` Roll Dance on Friday and then the Flower Show and Pet Show on Sunday. The meeting dates for the Society from now until our big event are Thursdays October 18th, November 6th, November 13th. Please attend if you can and if you would like to be a marshal of collector please pop in and see Sandie at the Floral Boutique.

Music events: the Southern Blues Kings are appearing tomorrow Saturday 20th September at Robertsbridge Club starting at 8pm. The Pete Thompsett Memorial Gig is being held on Sunday 28th September at Robertsbridge Club with doors opening at 3pm. The entry for the afternoon is £5.00 with monies raised going to local charities. Featuring during the afternoon along with Lumpy and the Lumpettes will be The Cajun Dawgs and Titus.

WEA: are running courses for Adults in Robertsbridge soon. There are information booklets available from the Floral Boutique or contact 881056 or email [email protected] for information.

Condolences: are happening weekly at the moment but sadly another of the older village generation has died, our condolences go to the family and friends of Erica Tedham another well-known lady from Robertsbridge.

FISHING: The season is well under way but just to remind you to make sure you have got a Rod Licence and a Rother Fisheries Licence, which is available from Alan Apps(01580-880877) @ £3.50, as there will be random checks during the season.
