Tomorrow 15th at Robertsbridge Hall between 10.30am – 12.30pm is the drop in session to raise awareness of the Public Defibrillators that we are lucky enough to have in our village. Please spare at least half an hour to go along and see what theses machines do, you could learn to save a life, and it could be a member of your family or a good friend, because who knows what might happen in the future.

Tomorrow evening 15th December, at Robertsbridge Hall the classic fairy tale from Grimm’s, `Hansel and Gretel` is being performed starting at 6pm. Please ring 01580 880359 to check for late ticket availability. This will be great fun and is suitable for children over the age of 7.

Wednesday 19th December is the Tea Dance Party `Christmas Do` being held at Robertsbridge Club between 2pm – 4.30pm. This sadly, is likely to be the last tea dance after four and a half years due to the regulars becoming a little less agile than when it started and the lack of interest from any new dancers. A big shame for all concerned.

Thursday 20th December is the next Progressive Whist Drive at Robertsbridge Hall starting at 7pm. All are welcome including beginners; this is a very friendly evening and is always on the third Thursday of the month.

Friday 21st December the band `Boneshaker` will be playing at the Salehurst Halt from 8.30pm.

The members of the Robertsbridge Branch of the Royal British Legion would like to thank everyone for this years support for the Poppy Appeal. The total so far stands at £4428.88, which is a fantastic effort, especially in the current financial climate. They would like to send many thanks for the continued support.

Robertsbridge Hall is run by volunteers who give up their time freely to keep the facility open and in good order for the benefit of our community. Keeping the equipment and facility in good order for all of the hirers use. Sadly the large tea urn that is part of these facilities has gone missing. If you know of its where abouts or know any information on it can you please contact the Chairman on 01580 880457 as it is difficult enough to raise the funds to keep the hall running without having to pay out unnecessarily for the replacement of taken items.
