Robertsbridge murder: Third man arrested in Wales

POLICE have made a third arrest in the hunt for the killer of Robertsbridge businessman Julian Gardner.

A 31-year-old man from Kent was arrested in Caernarfon, North Wales, shortly after midday yesterday (Thursday).

The man was brought back to Sussex to be questioned by police.

Detective Chief Inspector Trevor Bowles from Sussex Police Major Crime Branch is leading the investigation into the death of Mr Gardner, who was found dead on the driveway of his home at Bush Barn Farm, Robertsbridge, on Monday October 11.

A 29-year-old man from Ashford in Kent was arrested on Friday October 22 and released on police bail until November 26.

A 40-year-old man, also from Ashford, was previously arrested on Saturday October 16, and released on police bail until November 25.
