Rother civic ball

The evening was a great success, and raised funds for her chosen charity SASBAH - Sussex Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.

She told guests she has already raised 15,000 for the charity in her first four months in office.

There was a variety of guests, including Bexhill MP Greg Barker, councillor Bob Lacey who chairs the county council, and Bexhill Mayor Patrick Douart.

Edwina Currie was the guest speaker. She proved very popular with anecdotes of her colourful political career.
