Royal Fun Run
There is the still the opportunity to don a fancy outfit and compete in a 5k Royal Fun Run on April 29.
The event, supported by TL Sport and Bexhill Runners, is aimed at all runners and walkers.

Hide AdCompetitors are encouraged to wear fancy dress in a royal theme.
Participants can let their imagination run riot, and there will be prizes for the best fancy dress.
Those taking part will also be raising money for The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry.
This organisation helps young people who are disadvantaged or in need of guidance, Armed Forces personnel who have been injured while in service, and their families, and also the environment.

Hide AdThe event’s headquarters will be at a special “race village” in Devonshire Road, and the action kicks off at 9.30am at Devonshire Square.
The route continues down Devonshire Road, right into the Marina and along West Parade towards Cooden Beach.
There is a turning point on the lower prom, approximately 2.5k from the starting point, and runners will return to the finish line at Devonshire Square.
Competitors will have a clear run as the road will be closed for the duration of the event.
All finishers will receive a special commemorative medal.

Hide AdThose taking part in the fun run should finish in plenty of time to watch the Royal Wedding, screened from 11am at Lifestyle gym, Western Road, and then take part in a street party.
Organiser of the run, Paul Holdaway, race director at TL Sports Events, said: “We are excited about the forthcoming Royal Wedding, and we wanted to celebrate in the best way we know how.
“A fun run raising money for The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry seemed a perfect fit to us.”
• Entry to the race costs £15 for members of an affiliated club or £17 for non-affiliated runners.
