Royal recruitment day at Bognor charity shop

The aim was to recruit more volunteers, promote Sue Ryder and its services and to persuade the local community to provide quality donations to the store.
The event was held in conjunction with the Queen’s 90th birthday on Thursday, April 21, and there was a royal theme throughout the store.

Hide AdManger Louise Cable, along with assistant manager Yvonne Riding and retail volunteer coordinator Farzana Topia put on the event with help from their wonderful volunteers.
Farzana said: “It was a real success full of cakes, drinks, bubbles and fun. We wanted to show Bognor that we desperately required volunteers and that large donations can be dropped off at the back of the shop on Sudbury Road.”
