HELP is on hand for the hard of hearing with an advice session at the Memorial Care Centre, Peasmarsh Road, Rye on Tuesday, 10am to 11.30am.

Volunteers from East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre will be there to retube hearing aids or give advice on coping with a hearing loss. For an appointment drop in to the Memorial Care Centre or call 01797 224499.

RYE Museum is holding a Coffee Morning at 3 East Street on Saturday from 10.30am to noon. There will be free entry to the Museum with coffee and cakes being served. It will be one of the last opportunities to visit the museum before it closes for the winter.

Fair at Centre

THE next Rye Arts and Crafts Fair take place on Saturday at Rye Community Centre, Conduit Hill, from 11am to 5pm. Entry is free and there is a cafe with homemade food.

of local shipwreck

FORMER Rye Harbour Master Carl Bagwell is at Rye Museum’s East Street building on Tuesday at 7.30pm. The talk is entitled ‘Menaa Star - The Story of a Local Shipwreck’. Admission, members £2, non-members £3, including refreshments.

RYE’s ARRCC charity is looking for I.T. literate volunteers who can spare a few hours to help members improve -computing skills.
