Rye garden raises funds for hospital

ONE of Rye’s beautiful cottage gardens opened to the public on Saturday to raise much needed funds for Rye Hospital.

The Old House, at The Mint, was opened by the Reverend Paddy Buxton and his wife Pamela.

Visitors enjoyed teas and a cake stall and were able to purchase an array of plants as well as entering a draw to win a new car.
