'˜Santas vs Elves' at Horsham fun run

With just over two weeks to go until St Catherine's Hospice's first ever Santas Vs Elves fun run, Gatwick Airport staff have already '˜snowed' their support by swapping the runway for running and signing up to take part.

Melanie Wrightson, Community Engagement Manager  at Gatwick Airport, said: “We’re thrilled to be sponsoring and taking part in St Catherine’s Santas Vs Elves fun runs. It’s going to be the perfect way to kick-start Christmas and the staff making up our teams have been busy training to make sure that it’s their chosen team who’s crowned the first Santas Vs Elves champions.”

For the first time this year, when you sign up for Santas Vs Elves, you can choose your team. Do you want to shoot straight to the top of Santa’s list? You’d better sign up for Team Santa! Or fancy ‘snowing’ your support for Santa’s little helpers? Then choose Team Elf. And why not indulge in some friendly, festive competition by going head-to- head with family, friends or colleagues?

Whichever team you choose, you’ll be helping St Catherine’s care for terminally ill people throughout the festive season. Taking part and raising just £48, will pay for a patient to have an hour’s visit from St Catherine’s Practical Care Team, giving them expert care in the comfort of their own home over the festive season.

Inspired to follow Gatwick’s lead and sign up for Santas Vs Elves?
