Sara Lee Trust to open Sidley shop

Independent charity The Sara Lee Trust has announced that it is to open a new charity shop at 54, Ninfield Road, Sidley on Saturday June 25.

The Trust, which offers specialist counselling, creative and complementary therapies and therapeutic group activities to people in Hastings, Bexhill and Rother who are living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, currently operates five charity shops across Hastings, St Leonards and Bexhill. Dan Redsull, Trust Chief Executive says proceeds from the shops are vital to the charity. “The income generated through the sales of donated goods is critical to our ability to meet local need for our services; which continues to grow,” he said. “We are delighted to announce therefore that the Trust will be opening this new shop in Sidley.”

Emma Dell, Area Retail Manager for the Sara Lee Trust says the shop will stock an exciting and varied range of donated goods at affordable prices. “All items sold at our charity shops have been donated and we would like to thank everyone who has made contributions. We currently need volunteers for our new Sidley shop and training will be available.”

The shop will be open Monday – Saturday 10-4pm. To find out how you can join the friendly team, contact shop supervisor Rebbecca on 07597 904918.
