Sarah swaps checkout for a nurse’s uniform
Sarah, who works at Morrisons in Hastings, took part in a much-talked about segment of the show which paid tribute to the hard-working doctors and nurses of the NHS.
Many of those dancing alongside Sarah were actual NHS staff.
Sarah, 32, said: “It was amazing.

Hide Ad“I felt nervous before I went on stage, but when I was there I was fine.
“My family thought it was amazing.
“I was so happy they got to see me at the stadium.”
Sarah previously attended Hastings Stage Studio and has appeared on stage with the Battle Light Opera Group.
The Opening Ceremony, named ‘Isles of Wonder’ was directed by award-winning film director Danny Boyle and was broadcast to a Worldwide audience of four billion.
In the UK alone, viewing figures for the ceremony peaked at 26.9m.

Hide AdThe ceremony kicked off with Olympic Gold medal-winning cyclist Bradley Wiggins ringing the largest harmonically tuned bell in Europe.
Other highlights from the show included a sequence with the Queen and James Bond which saw the ‘Queen’ parachute out of a helicopter.
