School plant tree in memory of Oliver Curd

A new oak tree has been planted on the grounds of Peasmarsh CE Primary School in memory of former pupil Oliver Curd.

Whilst a pupil at Peasmarsh CE Primary School, Oliver was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma​ (a rare bone cancer) and sadly passed away in 2007.

The tree is special as it is from an acorn originally planted by Oliver. His mother Sarah Curd planted the tree.
