School says thank you

JANUARY is National Thank You month - and Bexhill High School plans to celebrate with a special ceremony.

Principal Mike Conn said: “Far too often in life, we forget those two very simple words - thank you - and take things for granted.

“So I have decided to stage a small ceremony at the end of the month when we will say our very own thank yous.

“I am asking pupils, parents, governors, staff and indeed anyone in the town connected to the school to email me at mconn@

bexhillhigh.e-sussex.sch.uk with suggestions of who should receive a special Bexhill High Thank You certificate.

“I see this as a nice opportunity to say thanks to people within the Bexhill High community. It may be a pupil saying thank you to a parent or carer; it may be a pupil saying thank you to a member of staff; or it may be a member of staff saying thank you to a pupil.

“It may also be someone, or a group, external to our school who wants to say thank you to someone associated with the school.”
