Schoolboy wins class visit to Worthing panto

YOUNGSTER Nathan Thomas was the hero of the hour when he won a trip to the Robinson Crusoe panto for his whole class (pictured right).

Nathan, aged seven, entered a competition run by the Herald and Worthing Theatres, and was delighted to win tickets to the panto at the Connaught Theatre with his Thomas A Becket First School classmates.

His mum Vickie O'Connor said: "He couldn't believe it when he won. He couldn't wait to tell his class."

Nathan, who is in the zebras class at Thomas A Becket, had to write a letter to Robinson Crusoe's mum telling her why he would like to take his class on an adventure with her son.

In his entry, Nathan said: "I'm entering this competition for my class and myself as we have been at school together for four years nearly now and next year we are moving up to big boy and girl school."
