SCHOOL'S ROYAL VISITOR

Those were the words on the lips of The Countess of Wessex during her visit to Pevensey and Westham Primary School on Wednesday morning.

It was the Countess's first official visit to the county.

She went on to Bexhill, St Leonards and Hastings accompanied by Lord Lieutenant Phyllida Stewart-Roberts.

Westham school head teacher Patrick Fleming told the Express: 'We all had a wonderful time '“ the children enjoyed meeting her and I am pleased to say she spent most of her visit talking to them.

'The children were absolutely thrilled.'
