Scouts soughtfor reunion

Past and present Scouts have been invited to a reunion in Bognor Regis to further celebrate a hundred years of Scouting.

Scouts Reunited is taking place between noon and 5pm on September 1 at West Park.

It will provide a trip down memory lane with a history of Scouting around Bognor and the chance to take part in fun activities then and now.

The occasion will include the planting of the Gilwell oak at 3pm to commemorate the centenary. This has been grown from an acorn from the Essex HQ of Scouting where founder Lord Baden Powell lived.
