The sculptures have been placed in the garden at the hospital home in Boundary Road and can be seen from the conservatory by the disabled residents.

Tina Ellis, from the hospital home, said: "The residents love the sculptures. They think they are really interesting. The college plans to come back and change them three times a year."

During the visit, students also brought bulbs with them, which they plan to plant in the hospital home's garden, along with a new tree.

Tina added: "The students have become regular visitors to the hospital home, going into the occupational therapy department to chat with the residents and look at the artwork. They have also agreed to exhibit some of the residents' artwork in college in February."
