Visitors flocked to stalls showcasing the best in food and drink from around the area, including fresh fish dishes and locally produced wines.
The festival was spread across two sites at The Stade, Hastings' fishing district.
Councillor Peter Pragnell, leader of Hastings Borough Council, said: "This is great news and winning this award is a reflection on what a fantastic event the Seafood and Wine Festival has grown into over its three years. This year we had something like 50,000 visitors over the weekend and a huge range of stallholders over the two main sites.
