CHRISTMAS FAIR: At The Clinton Centre, Clinton Place tomorrow, Saturday, from 10am to 12.30pm. There will be a special visit by Father Christmas also Tickles Face Painting, mulled wine, mince pies, gifts and games. Entry is free.

THE DOWNS: 60+ Club Open Day tomorrow, Saturday, from 10.20am to 4pm at the Clubhouse, Sutton Corner (the old flint building in the car park of The Downs Wave Leisure Centre). There will be an Art Show and Art Sale plus tombola, book sale and light refreshments.

SEAFORD CHORAL SOCIETY: Centenary Autumn Concert at St Leonard’s Church, Church Street tomorrow, Saturday, starting 7.30pm. Gala of short well known works celebrating 100 year’s of choral singing in Seaford and traditional carols for all to sing. With guest soloist Dame Felicity Lott and Seaford Primary School Choir. CHURCHES TOGETHER: In Seaford is inviting children 11 years and under to enter it’s Bethleham Trail Competition. Knitted nativity figures can be found in shop window’s from now until the town’s Christmas Magic Day on Saturday December 3. Entry forms are available from the library or Seaford Tourist Information Centre as well as churches throughout the town. Forms should be handed in at St. Leonard’s Church, Church Street on Christmas Magic Day from 10am to 3.30pm and the winner will be announced at 4pm.

COME AND ENJOY: Some Winter Wonderland, that is the invitation from the local art historian Kay Blackburn who is giving a special talk about Winter Scenes in Art on Tuesday afternoon, December 6, at 2.30pm. She will be celebrating winter in various ways from 15th century works through to the 20th century with a presentation that is in aid of Seahaven Storehouse which supplies food for 57 families in crisis situations. The talk will be at St. Peter’s Church, Belgrave Road and is open to everyone. Admission £7 which includes tea and cakes.
