Seaford man charged with aggravated burglary

Eight people, including one from Seaford, are facing charges of aggravated burglary.

Police were called out to a property in Lenham, Kent, just before midnight on April 26, after a report of a break-in.

It was also reported that some of the suspected burglars may have been in possession of weapons, including firearms.

Nyake Joe Tommy Alieu, 31, of Church Street, Seaford, has been charged with three counts of aggravated burglary and one count of assault.

Alieu, who has also been remanded in custody, will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on July 21.
