Seal of approval for link road bus route

The new bus route connecting St Leonards and Bexhill via the new link road has been given the seal of approval by a business leader.

Stagecoach Buses’ 21 route to and from Stonehouse Drive has been extended to serve Bexhill via the Combe Valley Way.

Chairman of the 1066 Federation of Small Businesses and Locate East Sussex ambassador Brett McLean said the change has improved the two towns’ links.

“Since Stagecoach Buses have been utilising the link road, connection between Hastings and Bexhill has improved greatly resulting in a frequent, faster and more direct service thus allowing passengers to use shopping areas in both towns which is great for independent retailers as well as high street chains,” he said.
