Sedlescombe

Judy Torrance, Asselton House

If you have an interest in whether the village has a main Sedlescombe fayre on the sports field in 2014 then please don’t miss the Sedlescombe Societies Association Annual General Meeting this Monday, November 18 in Committee room 2 at the village hall at 7.30pm. Many of the fayre committee have decided not to stand for next year’s committee and without a dedicated group to coordinate all the elements then the event will not take place. Please give some serious thought as to whether you could give some of your time for your village and our community, you will be very welcome.

There are still tickets available for the Sedlescombe and District Flower club special open evening with visiting NAFAS demonstrator Carolyn Meer interpreting the theme of “Christmas” on Wednesday, November 20. The evening will include the floral demonstration, mulled wine and tasty buffet snacks. The beautiful floral arrangements will then be raffled but if you not lucky in this draw then there will be a top quality general raffle as well. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start. If you would like to come along and enjoy this wonderful evening, you will be made very welcome. Tickets are now available priced £7 and available from Norma on 01797 223923 or Judy on 01424 870344
