Food will be in abundance with the WI tea tent providing refreshments and cake and our barbecue cooking delicious local meats. Ice cream is always a popular choice for a sunny afternoon so fingers crossed for some good weather.

As you can imagine there is lots of work going on behind the scenes at the moment to make the day a success.

Thank you to all those who have volunteered to help before, during and after the event with setting up, manning and taking down but we really need a few more hands to spread the load. If you would like to be involved in this special village event and are able to spare a few hours next Saturday, please contact Bob on 01424 871415. Battle Air Cadets have volunteered to assist with the parking this year and they will also be manning a stall providing information on the day to any young person interested in joining.

If you are able to donate towards the fayre, we would be pleased to accept any tombola prizes, these can be delivered to 2, Forge Cottages, The Green. Good quality bric a brac is also required, please call 871415 to arrange a drop off time. Cakes and preserves would also be most welcome on the day. Thank you for your support for this event.
