Several bin fires in Bexhill

Firefighters were kept busy with a number of bin fires in Bexhill yesterday (Sunday, May 9).

Bexhill crews were sent to an accidental rubbish bin fire at 5.45pm but no action was required

Fire crews from Bexhill were then sent to a rubbish bin fire in Galley Hill at about 6pm, which was out on arrival.

Later Bexhill firefighters were mobilised to Glovers Lane, Sidley, following reports of a small fire in the open at around 7.20pm.

Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
