Severe delays reported after crash on the A272

Traffic is reported to be queueing in both directions after a crash on the A272 between Buck Barn and Cowfold.

Sussex Police say the accident, which involved a lorry and a car, happened just west of Cowfold around 12 noon.

A police representative said a woman, who had been in the car, was taken to hospital with a leg injury.

Drivers are being held up between the Coach House roundabout and the crossroads at Buck Barn.
