Shipping buoy mistaken for explosive ordnance


The coastguard responded to reports of ordnance near East Preston, but upon arrival confirmed it was a shipping buoy.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard Littlehampton said: “Item was removed to the top of the beach for disposal and to prevent further calls.
