Shoreham Beach WI celebrates anniversary

The occasion was marked with a special "do it yourself" buffet and a highly competitive beetle drive.

At their April meeting, members enjoyed a presentation on seaside gardening by Monica Lewis, who illustrated her talk with slides and advised members on how best to cope with the difficult environment.

The evening ended with members displaying decorated eggs as part of the Easter celebration, with Tricia Hersee's effort being declared best egg.

Sue Bartlett, of the Court Witness Service, will be the speaker at the group's next meeting, at the Church of the Good Shepherd hall, Shoreham Beach, on Tuesday, May 1.
