Shotgun case: Man accused

A PEACEHAVEN man accused of firing a shotgun in the direction of a neighbour's home appeared before a judge at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday.

A PEACEHAVEN man accused of firing a shotgun in the direction of a neighbour's home appeared before a judge at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday.

William Kavanagh, 44, of Hoddern Avenue, did not enter a plea to the allegation of possession of a firearm with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm on the evening of August 16.

Judge Anthony Scott-Gall remanded Kavanagh in custody and ordered he face a further hearing on October 25.
