Sole village store proves to be a hit
A VILLAGE shop is proving to be a big hit with villagers in Icklesham after being open less than a year.
Icklesham Village Store, in Main Road, sells everything from fresh fruit and veg to cleaning products, as well as everyday items like sweets and confectionery.
The shop is run by Dexter Martin and Karen Clarke.
Mr Martin said: “This is the only convenience store in Icklesham and it is proving to be absolutely excellent in terms of popularity. The support we have had from residents has been fantastic.
“We opened a week before last Christmas and it was quite a rush to get it open for business.”
