Southwick WI meeting '“ report
SOUTHWICK Downsway WI members were entertained by a demonstration of flower-arranging at their recent meeting.
Lynn Nichols showed members how to create a display using floral oasis wrapped in a waterproof, tissue-type paper, which complemented the colours of the flowers.
Her tips for success included using long-lasting flowers, such as chrysanthemums and carnations. Members were also advised to use ice cubes if watering displays became difficult.
Lynn's displays were then raffled off and many members went home with a gift for Easter.
