Sparing A Thought At Christmas
Pupils at Battle Abbey Prep School have been sparing a thought for disadvantaged children in other countries who do not know what it is to receive a Christmas present.
Head teacher Jude Clark said: "They have been wrapping shoe boxes with Christmas paper and filling them with lots of lovely gifts.
"The 92 boxes will be collected and distributed by the Operation Christmas Child charity and hopefully bring some joy this Christmas to otherwise sad young lives."
