A FACELIFT is underway for a historic Lewes swimming pool after staff decided to take the plunge and start work on revamping its look.
Pells Pool, the oldest freshwater baths in the country, celebrates its 150th birthday this year.
As part of the celebrations the pool is splashing out on extensive improvements.
Pool manager Phil Ransley said: “We have started some refurbishment work around the pool and it is going really well.”
