Spotlight on crime prevention in Arun

People will be able to find out about what authorities are doing to keep Arun safe at a special event being held on Saturday, October 18.

The community consultation event has been organised by the Sussex Police Authority and the Arun Crime and Disorder Partnership (CDRP).

Senior representatives from Sussex Police Authority, Arun District Council and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service will giving a brief presentation on their plans and priorities for the area.

West Sussex Primary Care Trust and West Sussex County Council will also be on hand with information and to answer any questions.

Councillor Roger Elkins, cabinet member for community safety and member of the CDRP, said: "This consultation will give the public the opportunity to see how working in partnership is helping to make the district safer and give their views on the work being done by the CDRP."

The consultation will take place from 1pm until 4pm at the Regis Centre, Bognor Regis.
