Spotted Nick to run marathon in fancy dress

Bexhill rower Nick McCorry has proved he's up for a sporty challenge - but how about a spotty one?

Nick was part of the four-man team from Bexhill Rowing Club which took on hell and high water in the Indian Ocean race but now he is attempting an event closer to home.

He is going to run the Hastings half-marathon as one of the 101 Dalmatians and is looking for other crazy mutts to join in. It’s understood Nick is likely to be wearing Y-fronts with his body painted with spots, but other team members could perhaps sort out costumes that are more substantial.

Nick has found 30 would-be dalmatians already but still needs many others ready to run or walk to raise funds for Bexhill Rowing Club which is in need of funds to equip its new premises when built. He is therefore appealing to those entering who are not affiliated with a team to join his Dalmatians.

All they have to do is pledge a minimum of £10 to Bexhill Rowing Club so they would still be able to raise funds for their chosen charity, but also help what is one of Britain’s most successful clubs continue to give youngsters the chance to be part of its rowing excellence.
