Spring show in Battle

Battle Floral and Horticultural Society is holding its Spring Show at Battle Memorial Halls on Saturday, March 26, from 11.30am until 3pm.

There will be a wide variety of exhibits, including flowers, pot plants and vegetables, decorative classes to be judged by visitors, as well as domestic and photography classes, as well as a plant stall and tombola.

Once again, there will be an Art Wall on display where visitors can vote for their favourite.

Admission is free but donations are welcome and there will be excellent light lunches, coffee, teas and cakes available from 11am.

Society secretary Pam Robbins said: “Do come along and join our celebration of spring.

“We would love to see you there.”

Battle Floral and Horticultural Society meets at the Shephard Room of Battle Memorial Hall, in the High Street, at 7.15pm on the third Wednesday of the month between May and September and organises a number of popular shows throughout the year.
