St Leonards man attacked with '˜noxious liquid'

Balaclava-clad men forced their way into a house in St Leonards and sprayed a man in the face with what police have described as a '˜noxious liquid'.

Two men are reported to have forced their way into the property in London Road, where they carried out the attack using an unidentified bottle of liquid, at about 8pm on Saturday (January 16).

The victim was treated by paramedics for injuries to his eye, but he is not thought to have sustained any long-term damage.

One suspect was described as being about 6’1” and the other about 5’8”, and both were wearing balaclavas, gloves and dark clothing.
