Staff celebrate 115 years of service


The care home’s general manager, Duncan Edwards presented the long-serving staff members with flowers, vouchers and an award and gave a speech to thank them for their continued dedication.
Marilyn Knight now activities manager started at Barchester in March 1986 and has worked with residents and their relatives to ensure that their needs have been met over the years.

Hide AdSharon Haigh now Care Practitioner started at Barchester in February 1990 she is our first Care Practitioner and is qualified to administer drugs to our resident.
Eve Mitchell now senior carer started at Barchester in March 1990 and ensures that all our residents needs are met and that everyone has a fulfilled day.
Pauline Short now acting head of unit started at Barchester in April 1990 and she works on our Nursing Unit to provide continuity of care to our Nursing Residents.
Louise Pocock now our Administrator started at Barchester April 2005 and she ensures that all the paper work relevant to our staff and residents complies with the Barchester Standards.
