Stage and dance costume sale in Bognor

The final sale of stage and dance costumes for a nominal sum is being staged by Sandra Lilley on August 2.

Mrs Lilley has five suitcases of clothes '“ as well as sheet music and line dancing information '“ to go on sale from 9.30am until 1pm at 37 Fernhurst Gardens, Aldwick.

She said: "The last sale was popular and we had groups from Hurstpierpoint and Littlehampton coming along, but only three from Bognor.

"Local individuals will be missing out for good if they don't come along next time."

The money raised will go towards her younger sister's cancer treatment in Turkey.

Tina Smith acquired the costumes through her performing arts school which she has been forced to close because of her illness.

Mrs Lilley's last clothes sale raised 332 towards the 1,000-plus she has given to Tina for her fight for life.
