Director Micki Darbyshire said: “It’s not often we get to poke fun at the professionals.

“I find it quite funny and amusing that for once we can have a dig at the pros. It’s normally the other way around.”

Micki has kept fairly tight-lipped about the play’s exact plot.

However, she did hint that there would be a few comic surprises for audiences.

“There will be some things that I think the audience won’t be expecting,” she said.

The details Micki did reveal show that the story is set in the living room of a garden flat in Hampstead, London.

It opens in the middle of a dinner party given by Rupert (played by Barry Tinkler) and Sarah (Claire Cossins).

The duo are in the middle of a massive argument making things pretty uncomfortable for their guests, Charles (Dave Humphrey) and Madge (Fiona Humphrey).

The fight escalates and an exasperated Sarah reveals that she wants a divorce from Rupert. The drama soon spirals out of control, with secrets about the characters spilling out thick and fast.

The show takes place from July 23 to July 26, from 7.30pm, at the Windmill Entertainment Centre. For tickets, call 01903 856801.
