‘Stop for tea’ fundraiser at Horsham SPAR

Staff at Horsham’s SPAR store are hosting a ‘Stop for tea’ party in support of the NSPCC’s ChildLine Schools Service on Thursday (November 21).

Customers will be offered a cup of tea in exchange of a donation at the store in Coltsfoot Drive.

There will be other fundraising activities at the retail chain’s Horsham site.

All the proceeds will go towards the ChildLine Schools Service, which has been set up to give primary school children the awareness they need to recognise abuse and to seek help sooner.

Charly Meehan, NSPCC Corporate Account Manager, said: “Since our partnership began in 2006, SPAR has raised over £3.5 million for the NSPCC and ChildLine.

“‘Stop for tea’ is a fantastic way to raise even more money for a great cause. The events will bring staff, friends, neighbours and the local community together, and will hopefully help us achieve our £500k fundraising target!”
