Storrington factory evacuated after gas leak
A Factory in Storrington was evacuated over night after a gas leak.
Firefighters were called to a building in Water Lane at around 1.45am on Friday (April 24) after an acetylene cylinder started leaking.
The gas is highly unstable and crews spent more than an hour tackling the leak.
Firefighters from Storrington and Worthing attended the incident and isolated the leaking cylinder.
The building was allowed to ventilate naturally to resolve the issue.
