Storrington Waitrose incident: Man appears in court
A man who has been charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and arson with intent/reckless as to whether life was endangered appeared at Crawley Magistrate’s Court on Friday May 1.
Michael Spruhan, 52, of Windmill Copse, Storrington, did not enter a plea and has been remanded in custody.
He is due appear at Chichester Crown Court on Friday May 22.
This follows on from the incident at Waitrose in Old Mill Square, Storrington, on Wednesday April 29.
