As Strictly Come Dancing hit televisions across the nation once more, this month, dance instructor Dani Heppenstall was recounting her time being tutored by the show’s professional dancers, Natalie Lowe and Ian Waite.

Dani, 31, was taking part in a special workshop,, led by the two Strictly stars as part of a new dance craze she will be launching this month, along with fellow instructor Rachel Apps, entitled Fit Steps.

Mum-of-one Dani said: “It was amazing. They were both really lovely. But it was a really challenging course. We were dancing pretty much non-stop from 8am until 6pm. It was full on and very intense.”

Dani said she will be rolling out the new class from Wednesday. It will combine the graceful steps of ballroom and the up-tempo moves of the Latin dances.

The first session is at Climping Village Hall, on Wednesday (September 18), from 9.30-10.15am. Another class will take place at The Littlehampton Academy, the following day, from 6.30-7.15pm. Classes are £4.
