Oktoberfest organiser Clare Kersley says, along with food and drink, guests will also enjoy music, entertainment and fun, inspired by events that took place over 200 years ago .

“With the Kings’ German Legion arriving in Bexhill in 1804, we decided to hold the event in the Old Town and hope it will become an annual Lions’ FUNdraising event,” she said.

“Making their first public appearance will be ‘Lions in Lederhosen’ - an experience not to be missed!

“So Join us for brats and beer. It’s time to get together with friends for a good old fashioned German-style Oktoberfest!”
