Student's artistic debut at gallery

Georgia, who currently studies BA Fine Art (international) at The University of Leeds, primarily works in film and installations.

Georgia said: “Having my film exhibited in the famous Turbine Hall, less than 50ft from Ai Wei Wei’s Tree was a privilege.”

The collaborative piece entitled ‘Future Late’, contained work by young people from around the world and was orchestrated using a multitude of television screens in the Turbine Hall.

The theme was concerned with the future of art, and the looping films revealed many of these interpretations in an engaging and stimulating display.

Georgia added: “Exhibiting at one of the major London galleries has always been a dream of mine, but doing so only after two years of starting my degree and leaving Collyer’s has been wonderful.”
