Students help launch new-look village store in Barnham

Pupils from Barnham Primary School became stars to officially launch a new-look store in the village.

Joshua Hornsby, Thomas Root, Charlotte Langdon, Charlie Morgan and Hannah Dickinson performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Co-operative branch.

They were joined by store manager Lin Johnson outside the premises in The Square.

The shop has benefited from a 400,000 transformation.

Lin said: "As a community retailer, it is appropriate that we involve the community in our special events and we are delighted our local school could play a central role in the relaunch of our store."
