Stunt Show burn-up

THIS was one of the spectacular stunts that set Glyne Gap field alight on Monday night.

Professionals willing to risk everything to wow a crowd did just that when Scott May's Daredevil Stunt Show came to town.

Enormous monster trucks made mincemeat of a line of cars while the show's founder, a world-class motorcycle jumper, pulled off some nail-biting ramp leaps and a high-speed slalom around his colleagues - blindfolded.

The audience of more than 1,000 also saw a man dragged through a pit of fire by his ankles, an incredible tank-like vehicle plough through a row of hatchbacks and local girl Abby Baker, (pictured) who grew up in the Hastings area, perform an amazing 360-degree car flip off a ramp.
