Success for dance school's first production

"A GREAT success" was how principle of Bexhill's, DanceMoves School of Dance, Viv Wormley-Healing, described the school's first major production called 'Connections', held at the Phoenix Arts Centre on Saturday.

The evening of dance, drama and song, was compared by Tony Harris, and featured all the talented students from DanceMoves, with guest performances from local amateur groups.

The show was devised, choreographed and produced by Viv, and she said it was not only a fitting end to the school's first year but also gave them the opportunity to raise funds for the Red Cross.

Other performances at 'Connections' included a wide variety of energised dance styles and music, with drama from Ciaron Bird and singing talents included those of Cathy Brown, and Tim Wormley-Healing. Musical accompaniment was provide by Richard Eldridge.
